Legal Services Department Team Leader

My role is Legal Services Team Leader at Hayes Connor. I assist the team with their day-to-day jobs and provide support and guidance with all new and existing enquires.

Career

Before joining the legal world, I spent four years in a customer service role where I developed and gained experience dealing with customer queries. This role was telephone-based which helped to develop my telephone skills.

I began my legal career in the conveyancing team at Forster Dean where I spent six years. I started out as a legal assistant, which gave me the opportunity to develop my skills and knowledge of the law, before moving on to a fee earning role which I really enjoyed.

I joined Hayes Connor in July 2020 in the role of Legal Services Team Leader and the most enjoyable part of my job is the interaction that I have with my team on a daily basis.

The team report to me with all new enquires and any existing client enquires, we will then review all documentation in respect of the claim and we will then discuss the best way to proceed further for that individual client.

My role also includes liaising with the Management Team and supporting them along with the Legal Services team.

Personal Interests

When not in work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends doing various activities and going for days out.

I also enjoy watching football at the weekend and following Liverpool FC as much as I possibly can, including around Europe. I also love to go on holiday a couple of times a year, to different destinations when possible.

At the weekend, I like to go to local bars to listen to live music and enjoy a cocktail or two.
