Kirsty Chadwick

Legal Assistant

I handle the initial stages of a claim, which involves discussing the potential data breach and building rapport with prospective clients.

My day-to-day tasks involve answering queries and updating our clients, talking through the claim process and gathering the supporting documents needed in order to progress their claim.

I work closely with my colleagues in the Legal Services Team when we take on the larger group action claims to make sure that all clients are contacted and understand the claims process.

I also assist the Litigation Team in providing updates to our clients and obtaining any additional information that is needed to support the claim.

Career

Whilst studying Law at the University of Chester, I did a short placement at a small firm in Chester and this is where I knew that I wanted to develop a career in law.

After graduation, I worked in a personal injury firm for 3 years before joining Hayes Connor in June 2021 as a Legal Assistant.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy reading a multitude of genres and can spend hours in a day with my nose in a good book.

I love baking for my family when there is a special occasion (and often when there is not), and I relish trying new recipes to keep the weekly meals interesting. Anything with garlic and spice is a winner.

At the weekend, I can be found wandering around National Trust and English Heritage sites. History has always intrigued me and I enjoy walking around the beautiful gardens.

My partner and I often take short trips to the Lake District, Wales and the Peak District to unwind in a cabin with a fire pit, marshmallows and bubbles.
