Legal Director

As Legal Director at Hayes Connor, alongside Richard Forrest, I take a leading role in all aspects of the firm.

In addition to my own busy caseload where I act for clients, both on individual and multi-claimant actions, my management role sees me supervising and supporting the litigation and legal services teams.

The heart of my working day involves talking to and helping clients at what is typically an extremely distressing time. Whilst I often work on high value, high profile cases, I take just as much satisfaction from all claims we deal with because I know how important the outcome is to our clients.

We work very much as a team at Hayes Connor sharing our knowledge and expertise, working closely together to ensure we always deliver the best possible service and results for our clients. It is a dedicated and hardworking environment but also great fun.

I also work closely with our Directors and am engaged in business and marketing decisions.

Career

I have been qualified as a solicitor for over 20 years, working solely in civil litigation.

I began my career with our associated firm Forster Dean and I joined Hayes Connor in 2018 to work in the new, emerging area of data breach claims.

From a small team of 5 we have grown the business into the leading data breach firm and it has been the most exciting and busy period of my working life, diving into this fast-evolving area that provides for an interesting day’s work, every day.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, an eclectic taste in music sees me at lots of live music events and festivals with my husband and teenage son. Green Man festival is the highlight of our year.

We also enjoy travel and visiting family in Ireland. My wider family and friends in Liverpool ensure life is always busy.

I love all sports, but only as a spectator! Being from Liverpool, football, of course, plays a big part of life. With a mix of reds and blues (and some from other cities!) my negotiating skills are often needed at the weekend too…
