Coronavirus update from Hayes Connor Solicitors

  • Posted on

As the pandemic continues to impact the way we all do business, we wanted to provide an update on the situation here at Hayes Connor Solicitors.

Protecting our people

At Hayes Connor, the health of our employees remains paramount. Consequently, we are now operating home working for all employees, and we are using secure technology to continue representing you.

Because of this, and to relieve the pressure on our team during this time, all inbound calls are currently being answered by our existing 24-hour answering service team. This team is taking the relevant details, and triaging queries to our legal staff for action.

For new data breach clients, this means there is a longer delay than usual before we can respond in full. As such, the quickest and easiest way to start a new data breach claim with Hayes Connor is to complete our secure online form.

Supporting our clients

If you are already a Hayes Connor client, rest assured that we are continuing to progress your case. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our justice system is continuing to operate. The deadline for making compensation claims in the UK has not been extended and telephone hearings and evidence by video link are increasing. All our group actions and individual cases are progressing, and we are still settling many claims.

Of course, the security of your data remains of the utmost importance - especially when we are home working. As such, we have put a range of measures in place, so you don't have to worry. Hayes Connor had established, practised contingencies in place for remote working long before the current crisis, so we can still work on your case - securely and confidently.

Starting a new data breach case with Hayes Connor

If you plan to start a new data breach compensation case, you can do this in one of three ways:

  1. You can start a claim via our website using our secure online form (recommended)
  2. You can email our answering service team on enquiries@hayesconnor.co.uk. However, we are experiencing a longer delay than usual before we can respond in full and, where possible, we are requesting that people use the secure online form
  3. You can call our answering service team. They will take your details, and, where necessary, one of our expert legal team will call you back to discuss your case in more depth. However, we are experiencing a longer delay than usual before we can respond in full and, where possible, we are requesting that people use the secure online form

We thank you for your understanding as we look after the people who work at Hayes Connor, uphold our clients' rights, and attempt to limit the spread of the virus.
