I am a Legal Assistant at Hayes Connor Solicitors. My role is to deal with our clients’ initial enquiries, obtaining the evidence required for a successful data breach claim.
I assist our Solicitors and Fee Earners throughout the development of a claim chasing outstanding information and providing updates to clients.
I work with the Legal Services Team as the initial point of call for prospective clients, building rapport and initiating client relationships to ensure the smooth running of a claim.
I studied law at Lancaster University where my interest in a legal profession began.
I have completed multiple work placements in several law firms that specialise in different areas of law. After university, I joined a personal injury firm specialising in Road Traffic Accidents, leaving June 2021 to begin my career at Hayes Connor Solicitors.
Before starting my legal career, I worked throughout my studies in local restaurants and bars, gaining experience in customer-based roles acquiring the transferrable expert skills essential for the Legal Assistant role.
When I am not in work I can be found spending time with my family and friends. We often take trips away whether that be a staycation or holidays abroad visiting different places.
I enjoy walking and being active, spending my weekends finding new areas to walk the dogs.
I am an also avid reader enjoying all genres, my Kindle is definitely used more than my phone.
My partner and I enjoy visiting restaurants and, of course, no meal is complete without a cocktail a particular favourite of mine is a Cosmopolitan.
