Working with Victim Support
Hayes Connor Solicitors joins with Victim Support to help victims of cybercrime.
Here at Hayes Connor Solicitors, we are working with Victim Support to help those affected by cybercrime and data breaches.
The partnership will see us provide the charity with regular expertise and advice on its legal content. Together we will also create content and raise awareness of this growing threat.
Victim Support is the leading independent victim’s charity in England and Wales for people affected by crime and traumatic incidents. Last year it offered support to nearly a million victims of crime across the UK. Victims whose lives had in many cases been torn apart by the crime they’d experienced. The organisation provides free, confidential emotional support and practical help for people affected by crime; and this includes a growing number of cybercrime victims.
A nationally respected charity that is doing tremendous work when it comes to helping those affected by cybercrime, we are delighted to have signed an agreement which enables us to assist them in this endeavour.
As well as providing links to Victim Support on the Hayes Connor website, to ensure victims have access to everything they need at what can be a very traumatic time, we’ll also support the charity as it strives to offer up-to-date and practical legal advice. Ultimately, it’s about ensuring victims have access to the support they need when they need it, as well as raising awareness of the threat to keep people safe online.
At Hayes Connor, we help our clients to claim the maximum amount of compensation in the minimum amount of time following data protection breaches and other online offences. Where multiple people have been affected by a violation, we also makes group action claims; often on a no win-no fee basis.
